Matthew S. Militello, Esquire

Matthew S. Militello, Esquire

Matt established the Law Office of Matthew S. Militello, P.C. in January, 2024, after being an associate attorney at the Law Office of Eric J. Weisbrod, P.C. since 2022. Upon Eric being elected District Attorney of Fulton County, Matt took over his practice, continuing to serve all clients of the firm. Matt’s prior legal experience includes public service in the office of the District Attorney of Franklin County and the offices of the Erie County District Attorney and Crawford County Public Defender. 

A 2009 graduate of Edinboro University with a Bachelor’s degree in history, he continued his education and received his Juris Doctor in 2012 as a graduate of Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. 

Throughout his career, Matt has handled every type of criminal defense matter, from DUI and traffic related matters to serious felonies. He has tried many cases before both judges and juries. His practice has taken him to multiple counties throughout central Pennsylvania. Including Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Juniata, Cumberland and Adams. He also performs pro bono services providing legal assistance to abused individuals in Protection from Abuse cases. 

Matt is a member of the Franklin County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and has been nationally ranked by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys as “Top 10 Under 40” Attorney Award. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. 

Matt resides in Chambersburg with his twins, Emma and Tucker. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his children, playing golf and supporting the Auburn Tigers and Minnesota Vikings.

Travis was born and raised in Waynesboro, PA. After graduating high school, he attended Shippensburg University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law Enforcement. After graduation, Travis was hired by the Waynesboro Police Department and attended the Municipal Police Academy at Harrisburg Area Community College. Travis served as a patrol officer for three years before becoming the Department’s first school resource officer. Travis served as the SRO for two years before going back to patrol. During this time, Travis decided to attend Law School. Shortly after, he was named the department’s detective. Travis served in his role as detective for approximately nine years. Travis attended law school part time at Widener Commonwealth in Harrisburg where in graduation cum laude. Travis received the Cali Award in four classes and the Legal Research and Writing Award. After graduation, Travis continued his work at the Waynesboro Police Department where he received the Departments Award Meritous Award twice  and the VFW Police Officer of the Year Award. Travis was then hired by the Franklin County District Attorney’s Office as a Senior Assistant. Travis was later promoted to Chief Deputy. Travis has over twenty years’ experience in the criminal justice system. 

Travis has volunteered as a youth baseball coach for the last 16 years and has also volunteered as a youth basketball and soccer coach. Travis has served on the Boards of the Waynesboro Youth League and Pen Mar Youth League. Travis currently serves as President of the Waynesboro Basketball Association. 

Travis lives in Waynesboro with his wife, Krista, and three kids, Blake, Gracie and Nick as well as their two cats, Hank and Sturgill. Travis enjoys coffee, hiking, reading, music, concerts, traveling, baseball, Pittsburgh Pirates, UK Wildcats basketball, and yoga. 

Kristen B. Hamilton, Esquire

Kristen B. Hamilton, Esquire

Kristen Hamilton practices in Franklin County, previously handling cases in all aspects of family law and additionally criminal matters, including prior capital case certification. Kristen served as the Juvenile Public Defender from 2010-2020, Franklin County guardian ad litem from 2010-2024 and now serves as the Juvenile Hearing Officer for dependency and delinquency matters. Kristen also serves regularly as a guardian ad litem in private custody cases and is trained as a Parent Coordinator. She received her undergraduate degree from Gettysburg College and graduated from Widener Law Commonwealth in 2005.

Kristen received commencement awards from the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and Widener in the areas of Children and the Law and Families. She has served as a panelist for various CLEs across Pennsylvania on topics such as civility in the profession, child advocacy, and ethical implications of AI use in the legal field.  In 2015, Kristen was appointed as a delegate to the Statewide Children’s Roundtable, appointed by the late Chief Justice Max Baer.

Kristen continues to be heavily involved in the Franklin County Bar Association, serving as a president, and is currently a member of the Foundation Board, the Bench-Bar Committee, and Secretary of the Franklin/Fulton Children’s Roundtable. Kristen is the current President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, starting May 2025 and completing her service in 2026. Kristen serves in multiple other local and statewide committees and organizations to improve the practice of law, as well as positively impact the lives of children and families in Pennsylvania through the juvenile delinquency and dependency systems.

Originally from Walkersville, MD, Angel Roberts made Chambersburg, PA, her home in 2005. With over 20 years of experience in retail management and a strong foundation in banking, she has developed expertise in leadership, customer relations, and financial operations. Now, Angel is embarking on a new career in criminal law, applying her dedication, analytical skills, and commitment to justice in a dynamic and impactful field.

Beyond her professional achievements, Angel has also been deeply involved in her community, serving as President of the Chambersburg Steelers Football and Cheer Organization, where she demonstrated strong leadership and a passion for youth development.

 Angel is happily married to Damaine Roberts, and together they have built a life centered on family and community. As a devoted mother, she cherishes her two sons, Drew and Cameron, and recently celebrated a new and joyful chapter as a proud grandmother.

 Her journey is defined by resilience, passion, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around her.
